The Gadigal Nura Pop Up lands just before xmas at Cubby Space. Artist Nadeena Dixon will have works such as traditional weaving and textiles, carving, prints and much more for show and sale. It’s a perfect chance to get a gift with meaning and a real story. Come in and chat with Nedeena about these special pieces and you will gain knowledge of indigenous culture and learn about her journey that relates directly to her mob; The Gadigal People of the Eora nation, the First Peoples what is now called the Sydney greater area.

About the artist
Nadeena Dixon is a Wiradjuri ,Yuin & Gadigal (Dharug-Boorongberigal clan). An Indigenous Multi-disciplinary Artist her practice encompasses Printmaking, Multi Platform Production including Photography, animation, video, editing, sound and webpage design and integration.
Nadeena Dixon is the only master weaver in Sydney, recognised as a Master Weaver in Indigenous Cultural Traditions. She has trained under 4 master weavers of the Gadigal, Yuin and Wiradjuri people. Her cultural practices include dance, song, language, songwriting, contemporary theatre storytelling, and contemporary ceremony.
Nadeena has a Post Graduate Degree in Indigenous Arts Management University of Melbourne ,Masters in Fine Arts UNSW graduate 2017.
